CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG to Close in Sydney on January 19

Producer Tim Lawson today announced that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang must leave Sydney on Saturday 19 January 2013. No extension is possible as 'Chitty' opens in Melbourne on Wednesday 30 January 2013. Tickets for 7 new summer shows, until 19 January, go on sale at 9am on Thursday 20 December.

Sydney audiences have fallen in love with the magical flying car in 'Chitty', the brilliant cast including David Hobson, Rachael Beck, Alan Brough, Jennifer Vuletic, Peter Carroll, George Kapiniaris, Tyler Coppin, the extraordinary children, the huge Ensemble and the 7 dogs have been enchanting packed houses at Sydney's Capitol Theatre...but now it's time to go.
